The Business Development Manager is responsible for contacting prospective customers to generate sales revenue
DUTIES:
· To achieve monthly sales and KPI targets for allocated territory
· Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy through internal marketing group as well as individual campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue growth in accordance to the company's KPIs and metrics
· Prospect new accounts and build relationships with potential customers using phone and internet communications
· Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow pipeline and revenue
· Ensure a high activity of outbound calls is completed daily to assigned territories (minimum 50 calls per day)
· Use analytical skills to understand and qualify prospective customers, their business and technology issues and needs.
· Ensure all pertinent sales activity is recorded accurately in salesforce.com CRM system
· Leverage the virtual team to conduct discovery, qualify need and prove the value of the solutions to address customer needs
· Actively maintain a sales pipeline in accordance with the company's metrics
· Continuously strive to improve sales effectiveness and business acumen
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Significant outbound B2B Sales experience gained within software, hardware, services solution sales, or other technically related products
· Demonstrable track record of working towards strict KPIs and performance metrics and achieving monthly sales targets
· Willingness and desire to maintain high telephone activity levels
· Ability to work through rejection and maintain a positive attitude
· Commercially astute
· New business sales-focus
. Proficient with MS Outlook and contract management software
· Experience with salesforce.com (desirable)
· Knowledge of business processes and order entry systems
· Experience of conducting on line demonstrations (not necessary but an advantage)
· Must have high ethics, integrity, and have a desire to exceed expectations every day
· Be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the overall team’s success
· Degree educated or equivalent
