Senior DB Developer

DB, Developer, PL/SQL, XML, Database, Linux, financ, XML Database, Marklogic

Location: London

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Looking for a few Senior DB Developers to work for a well known finance company based in London

You would need to be experienced in:

· Oracle PL/SQL

· Experience with XML databases is mandatory

· Experience of xpath/xquery

· Data modelling and database design

· Experience with large databases

· Working with Unix environment (specifically Linux)

· Perl/Shell scripting and job scheduling

· Functional knowledge of Server (Linux/Unix) platforms and Desktop systems

· Performing project assessment in one or more areas: server capacity planning, security, consolidation, testing, deployment, migration

· Understanding and delivering the infrastructure development process including installation/builds and configuration of both servers and workstations

· Creating test/automation scripts, test cases, operational instructions and documentation

· Experience of Marklogic would be an advantage.
